Reservations
Making your camping plans is easy! We have camping spaces every day of the year, and reservations can be booked online, night or day. If you belong to one of our discount programs, the discount will be refunded when you arrive and show us your membership card.

If you are booking a large group, please call us to make the arrangements.

Late Arrivals
Those arriving late may use the late registration counter, but make sure you have the correct change. And please note that discounts can't be honored since we aren't present to see your valid ID card.

We're located within the Central time zone. Since we're open every day of the year our hours fluctuate from season to season, but we live on the grounds so you can usually find someone to help you even when our store is closed.

Our Way Of Life
Our way of life at High Plains Camping is designed for the comfort and enjoyment of all of our campers, so please respect our rules while you're here with us. We've outlined these in the registration handout.

Group Facility
Groups are always welcome, and our Sunflower Barn is a popular place for rally meetings, family reunions, and socials of all types. It seats up to 100 people. The tables and chairs can be arranged many ways, or they can be removed if you need more floor space. Please contact us for more details.

Rates
Site rates and rental rates are between $18 and $60, depending on many factors. Please use the online reservation page to determine the rate for your stay (fill in the form to calculate your rate; the reservation isn't confirmed until you pay online so you can check your rates for free if you like). Please note that the online reservation program may provide you with a better rate than one that's processed in person.

Customers who register for multiple nights receive an added bonus of a discount at our neighboring restaurant, The Colonial Steakhouse. Their menu includes the best steaks, the best buffet and salad bar and the best fried chicken. It's the finest restaurant and it's in walking distance from your site! Arriving too late for dinner? Then plan on their breakfast before you leave! Waffles or French toast ... tough decisions! It's all good food.

If you're wanting to Boondock for the night, we have a few RV sites without utilities. You'll pay simply the "rustic site" fee, and you can still enjoy the other amenities we offer.

What are you doing for Memorial Day weekend? Join in for Jerichon!

Fans of the CBS television series "Jericho" host an annual fan-based convention, "Jerichon" here in Oakley. If you're familiar with the show, you know it takes place in NW Kansas, along I-70 and US-83. That's Oakley!

High Plains Camping is proud to be a sponsor of Jerichon 2007 and now Jerichon 2008. We're honored to be one of the locations selected for the Jericho fan-based convention Jerichon! The Sunflower Barn will be home to the Saturday night BBQ (catered by the Colonial Steakhouse) and the Saturday night dance. We're looking forward to making sure everyone has a great time and takes home wonderful memories!
