TV watchers have an unobstructed view for their satellite dishes. Your roof top antenna should pick up ABC, NBC, CBS & PBS. Mini-Golf or Horseshoes - 18-holes of challenging miniature golf, ready for kids from 2 to 102. Putt-putt your evening away!
A horseshoe pit, walking areas, and open fields give you more opportunities for family togetherness.
Geocachers should find geocache GC1HM6J somewhere on the property.
New for 2009 was the organic garden, and for 2010 it's been greatly expanded! Pick your produce, carry it to your site, and savor it. There's no additional fee, but the farmer would enjoy a donation to his can. Pick your salad. Pick your canteloupe. Pick whatever is ripe on the evening of your stay! Ahhh ... the Spa
|
Hot Tubs (adults) - After a long day on the road, it's time for you to rejuvenate. No intrusions ... the hot tub is yours during your reserved time.
(Seasonal: hot tubs are drained as demand drops off in Fall and are refilled as demand picks up in the Spring. If this is your utmost desire, be sure to contact us to make sure one is operating that day.) |
Rec & Relaxation Sunflower Barn. Check it out before you settle in for the night. It is home to some jigsaw puzzles, card games, and some space for socializing. Take your paperwork & laptop in there and spread it out on a table. Organize your photo album at one of the tables. Great place to hang out when it's too windy outside. Groups & rallies should ask the office staff about using this area. |

Although conservation isn't exactly an "activity" (title of this page) we want to mention we strive to protect our planet. We enjoy preserving Earth, and we participate in ARVC's PLAN-IT GREEN program. Some examples of our efforts include:
- Reduced water, electric and gas consumption as we renovated and upgraded the facilities;
- Added collection bins for recycling;
- Replaced some regular bulbs with compact fluorescent lighting;
- Installed motion sensor lighting in employee areas and utility rooms;
- Installed automatic thermostats;
- Used energy star equipment;
- and we replace air filters frequently.
